- So in order for this stay-at-home mommy to have a little piece of sanity and a creative outlet, I have started decorating cakes. I guess you could say I have always been into the "creative arts." By that I mean I have always loved to draw, paint, scrapbook etc... but it wasn't until my friend Shannon came over and helped me make a cake for a baby shower that I really decided to jump into this cake thing. I made one cake and then another and another and then signed up for the Wilton Class at our local Hobby Lobby. I totally fell in love with decorating cakes and I look for any excuse to make one. I recently had my first sale and then another and another and have totally enjoyed started a little business out of something I LOVE! If given the opportunity, I would love to make one for you! I picked up your gluten free cupcakes at Mary Grace's bake sale yesterday and they were fabulous! I told my husband I want you to make my next birthday cake (it isn't until December), but my mom has a birthday coming up next weekend. I will give you a call to see what we can do. Everyone in my immediate family has a gluten allergy of some sort.
